ENGLISH: In 2008 she and her husband adopted a white bull terrier who was born deaf to save her from being put to sleep. Her experience in the art of photography using her as a model and muse, began then, not only in this theme but also in narrative. This was the first step towards the project that they formally called Punto Bull in 2010.
The pet portraits arise from the idea of creating original and artistic images for T-shirts designed by her and her husband.
On July 2, 2010 their white bull terrier died after a tragic accident, leaving a huge hole in their lives and sadness for his unjust loss. A few days after the first portrait is created, you can see her with two large wings, surrounded by a beautiful rainbow.

The idea behind the project is to quickly create a truly artistic image which can be scanned, stored and printed in sublimable ink for a handmade quality T-shirt. An A4 size drawing looks like a reasonable measure to function as portrait and stamping image for T-shirts. The sheet of paper can be in different textures, but always white to highlight and contrast the different colors of the script pencils. The combination of these materials results in the products that today are the essence of Punto Bull.
It is noteworthy that Mercedes Cáceres is also a graduate dentist and oral maxillofacial surgeon who practices in this days.

ESPAÑOL:En el año 2008 adopta con su marido a una bull terrier blanca y sorda de nacimiento, que iba a ser sacrificada, y comienza su experiencia en el arte de la fotografía utilizándola como modelo y musa, no solo en esta rama sino en la narrativa también. Este sería el primer paso hacia el proyecto que formalmente se llamó Punto Bull en 2010.
Los portarretratos de mascotas surgen de la idea de crear imágenes originales y artísticas para remeras diseñadas por ella y su marido.
El 2 de julio de 2010 su bull terrier blanca muere tras un trágico accidente, dejando un enorme hueco en sus vidas y mucha tristeza por su injusta pérdida. Unos días después nace el primer portarretratos, que la muestra con dos amplias alas desplegadas y rodeada de un hermoso arcoíris.
La idea básica del proyecto consiste en crear de manera rápida, una imagen realmente artística que pueda ser escaneada, almacenada e impresa en tinta sublimable para su estampado en una remera de confección artesanal de calidad. Un tamaño A4 del dibujo se presenta como una medida razonable para funcionar como portarretratos y como imagen para estampar. El papel, de diferentes texturas pero siempre blanco para que resalten y contrasten el él los diferentes colores de lápiz script. La conjunción de estos materiales da como resultado los productos que hoy en día son la esencia de Punto Bull.
Cabe destacar que Mercedes Cáceres es además odontóloga y tiene un posgrado en cirugía bucomaxilofacial y que ejerce como tal en estos días.
